I'm going to be in NYC 2 weeks from today, and need some advice (clearly). I'm planning on going to a TKTS booth; is it safe to assume that most of the Tony-nominated shows will be gone from there by then, it being a week after the awards? Thanks in advance!

If you are worried about tickets, go to one of the discount sites and get them in advance.

What shows specifically do you have in mind?

If you want into any of the hot shows that have been selling out at times (Once, Newsies, Evita) you should book ASAP. After the Tonys there's often a good few weeks of nightly sell outs, especially for winning shows.

I would really like to see Once or Porgy and Bess, but I know both of those will be almost impossible to get on short notice. What discount sites would you recommend?

Porgy and Bess has been on TDF online all week.

Broadwaybox.com

Once also has $60 tickets in the back, but I'm sure they go fast.
