Anyone have any suggestions as to WHY I can't view BALCONY tix? Looking for tix for Hamilton in the spring, and I can only see the Orchestra and Mezz (front and rear).
Very odd. And I'm sure I'm being a dolt about something.....and will try my son's computer when he wakes up, maybe its my tablet being weird?

There is no balcony at that theater. Rear mezz is the cheapest you can get.

Ok....I'm a dolt. I was JUST there and had it in my head that I was IN the Balcony. Maybe it was that extra flight of stairs to get there. Oy.
Thank you for your quick response. I will stay in bed today since this is obviously an omen of what is to come.

Dramamama, here's MY question for you: were you able to access the interactive seating chart on your tablet? Mine won't let me, and I've always wondered what I was doing wrong. (Serious question)

I've tried numerous times for numerous shows and have never been as to access a seating chart on ticketmaster from a tablet or mobile device, even when supposedly viewing the full site. I've always had to use a computer. (I have apple devices.)

Yes, I can easily use the interactive seating from my tablet. I don't need to do anything differently to do so.
I can't be of any help.

On my phone and tablet, I'm never allowed to use the interactive seating chart. I hate ticketmaster mobile because it literally gives you one pair of tickets as an option and if you click on "Show me different seats" it will keep redirecting you to those same seats and if you're lucky and if it works it usually shows me the same exact seats just one row behind the already shown tickets. Telecharge has a much easier mobile system, but for both ticketmaster and Telecharge I prefer to use their interactive seating charts online (except I used mobile on Telecharge for Fun Home recently because there is no interactive seating chart online for that show and in that case it was easier on Telecharge mobile). :)

And btw, my phone is an iPhone 6 plus, and my tablet is an iPad so I wonder why some people don't have trouble and I do.

I figured you guys probably had different devices, but I just find it funny that Apple charges an arm and a leg for all of their supposed innovative products (which in many ways they are) but they can't load a simple ticketmaster seating chart on my tablet. :) BTW, I just really ****ing want tickets to see Hamilton already. Now most regular orchestra and front mezzanine seats went up to $177 on ticketmaster (not including fees).

The rear mezz seats are perfectly fine and are less expensive. I don't know why everyone is making a such a huge deal about the cost. My mezzanine seat was $77 with fees.
The listed price is US $57.00 (US $65.75 with fees)

Thats true. I'll consider it, but still $177 as a regular priced ticket is still insane, supply and demand or not.

The rear mezz seats have increased to over $100. (At least for Spring dates) The seats that were approximately $75 with fees are now listed over $100.

Posted: 8/7/15 at 10:08amI just looked at a random date in January, and you're right, they did increase the price, but it's $89 for the mezz. Not over $100. This is a weeknight.

The first Thursday in June the rear mezz prices are $122 plus fees =$131.50 and $99 plus fees =$108.50. As I already stated, for Spring (1st week in June is Spring), the prices are OVER $100.00.

I just picked 2 random dates. Tuesday February 23, 2016 - LAST row of the rear mezz is in fact "only" $89, but, with fees it brings it to $98.25, which is basically $100. For Thursday May 5, 2016 - the last row of the rear mezz is $99 making it $108.50 with fees.
That is absolutely absurd. But hey - as people are saying, people are buying. Supply and demand. I just can't believe prices are that high for the rear mezz and, for the last row, none the less! So much for keeping it affordable for people. Though, I still applaud them for the $10 lottery.

I got Row F in the rear mezzanine for a Saturday in March and the tickets were $98.25 with the fees. The same seats then increase to $108.25 in April, which was my first choice of dates. I agree it is getting to be a bit much!

When I bought tickets to BOM back around this time in its popularity cycle, mid/rear-mezz tickets (I don't remember exactly where we sat) cost us $155 each. So it's not like this price-gauging is a solely Hamilton thing

Mr. Musical, you are absolutely right. I didn't see Book of Mormon for a long time because I refused to pay so much. I finally saw it when they ran that promotion where you could get points and cash them in for tickets. Sat last row for $59 and it was the most painful experience. I am under 5 ft. 3 and I had to sit sideways! I was very glad I didn't pay full price for the seat!

And that is why I still haven't seen BoM. lol.

mj21723, I also sat in the last row for BOM. I am 6'3. If you had difficulty with leg room and you are under 5'3, can you imagine my discomfort? That may have been one of the reasons I didn't enjoy it.

Artman, you must have been in pain for days! While I liked the show, I didn't thing it was the best thing ever like others thought.
