Give people some time to get home, the show should have just ended.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

I saw him as Bobby Strong in URINETOWN at St. John's Univ, oh, this time last year I guess. He wasn't anything special.

I walked through Schubert Alley and saw Adam Chanler-Berat and Tim Young at the stage door and thought he went on...why was Aaron out?
PS, as of 10:45 tonight there didn't appear to be anyone in line for rush. So no RIDICULOUSLY insane fans out yet.

maybe he got sick thinking about all the people willing to camp out for tickets to his last show.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

He has a good voice, but not much of an actor.
What was the "rumor"?

Like a teenage pregnancy?
Yeah, it seemed unplanned though. Hm, weird. Maybe he's stressed out about performing on the Tonys which led him to become sick.

I was there this evening (my fifth time). It was a little annoying to get an understudy after getting in line at 5:45 this morning, but what can you do. Tim plays the role very differently than Aaron (less menacing and more vulnerable). He had some really great moments when he diverged from Aaron's choices, but fell short when mimicing Aaron's performance. He has a great voice (which was suprising after the youtube videos). Alice adapted her performance for Tim, which was great (some interesting choices). This was definately Bobby's best performance (at least the best I've seen from him). He really let loose in the second act. The only obvious trouble was that Tim was sweating like crazy throughout the entire show. It makes you appriciate how Aaron navigates the physical demands of the role.

I don't think you can fault someone for sweating. I sweat just walking to my car, ha.

Haha! I don't really have a problem with sweating, but it was a very heavy sweat that lasted 2 hours and 30 mins (which was slightly distracting).

Haha... Aaron does make it look effortless. Thanks for your review!

Did he wear the baby tees like Aaron wears? ha. His costumes suck.

Yes and yes! Same costumes, but... let's just say he doesn't fill them out as well as Aaron

I love Aaron's costumes. I always took the t's to show that even thought he is physically 18 he's still thought of as a "boy". (but gads of hs seniors dress this way....constantly.)

I hope Kyle is wonderful. I think the show would lack horridly with a lackluster Gabe.

On another note, I tried to look up Tim Young and found unfortunate misprint on a captain to this photo...http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://s3.amazonaws.com/images.nachofoto.com/b-Tim-Young-J-Robert-S-420fbc405b76.jpeg&imgrefurl=http://nachofoto.com/gallery/Next_To_Normal_Broadway_Opening_Night-1&usg=___q7VkneXw9Xs_uIvKxlNoTH9Hx8=&h=287&w=400&sz=28&hl=en&start=1&sig2=M-LDtqd3s3fS79D0PUjb6A&um=1&tbnid=rO2jj2Iopn3KNM:&tbnh=89&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3DTim%2BYoung%2Bin%2BNext%2BTo%2BNormal%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26um%3D1&ei=FX4qSu-hDJ2ctgOAmfXqCg
