Last night I was bummed because I couldn't get to [tos]. I was sure that Benjamin would go on (he's never gone on, even at the Vineyard) to give Jeff another day of recovery.
I'm surprised Jeff did the show. I would have liked to have experienced Ben's version of Jeff.
"Hurry up and get into your conga clothes - we've got to do something to save this show!"
Wow! I'm amazed that he went on...how did he do Die, Vampire when they all pick up Susan?? One MORE reason you gotta love these guys.
The last vampire is the mother of all vampires and that is the vampire of despair. It'll wake you up at 4am to say things like:
Who do you think you are kidding?
You look like a fool!
No matter how hard you try, you'll never be good enough!
Why is it that if some dude walked up to me on the subway platform
and said these things, I'd think he was a mentally ill as-h-le,
but if the vampire inside my head says it,It's the voice of reason!
DIE VAMPIRE, DIE--[SUSAN in tos]
I was at the show last night and he did a FANTASTIC job. He is such a trooper. Obviously, he wasn't jumping around too much and if you looked close enough, he was definitely favoring his other leg. But all in all, he did great! It would've have been fun to see Benjamin, though - according to the cast, they weren't sure who'd be going on until almost 7.
Jeff did go on last night, but they changed the blocking during Die, Vampire, Die, so that Heidi was the one at the bottom picking up Susan's feet. It was the only change to the blocking that I noticed.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
Benjamin definitely went on at the Vineyard. I think the previous poster is correct and he went on for both Hunter and Jeff. I know one of them had their wisdom teeth out during the run. It's in the blog somewhere back during the Vineyard run about Benjamin and Courtney going on.
