Was walking through Times Square today and saw something very weird. Tommy Tune and an assistant were measuring the display windows at the Palace Theatre. Mr. Tune, in army fatigues, was easily recognizable from (easily) 30 blocks away and was happy to oblige passersby with long conversations and photographs.
Any idea what he's doing at the Palace Theatre?

Posted: 11/11/06 at 9:33pmAccording to a recent playbill.com article he is working on a show called Turn of the Century with Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (book authors of Jersey Boys). I don't understand why he would be specifically interested in The Palace though. I agree that he should be back on Broadway soon.

If he was having conversations with folks, why didn't you just ask him?
My guess is he's gone into the drapery business.

A revival of Grand Hotel helmed by Tommy Tune would be as good as it gets. I can only imagine all the possible exciting casting choices.
