Tonight on 30 Rock

Just a heads up that tonight on 30 Rock it's a special Mothers Day episode with appearances from all the Moms, meaning we get Elaine Stritch, Patti LuPone, Jan Hooks, Anita Gillette, and in a new addition Novella Nelson as Tracy's mom. Also appearing is Cheyenne Jackson in his recurring role as TGS cast member Danny.

Quite frankly I don't see how they can not do a musical number, so fingers crossed on that front!

I must admit that I hadn't heard of Novella Johnson so I assumed it was just a character's name. When I was going back and forth from Grey's Anatomy to 30 Rock, I say the pajamaalls, I thought it was Terri White. But I have seen Novella in The Starter Wife, and I enjoyed her very much.

Yeah, I thought it was funny hearing Patti LuPone sing badly on purpose since after all she was just playing a mom, that was funny.
Elaine Stritch just continues to amaze me every time she's on the show, her delivery is pitch-perfect and always hilarious. Uncageg, I too lost it after hearing "I assume herpes"
Season clearly the weakest of the bunch but it was a good episode.
