Posted: 7/17/07 at 7:41amDoes the Tony eligibility go to the person who plays the role on opening night, or the person who is credited with the role in the Opening Night Playbill? I'm guessing it's the latter -- if an understudy performed on opening night, they probably still aren't eligible. Does anyone know what the opening night Playbill credits are like?

Mikem- I am assuming the actor listed in the Playbill on opening night, not an understudy.
But Jackson isn't classified as an understudy, correct?
