Tony Party Ideas...?

Hello all! I have been hosting a Tony Awards party for 5 years straight now and I am wanting to "switch it up a bit". I am getting tired of my usual costume party, where everyone comes dressed as a Broadway character, so this year the dress theme is "Come dressed as you would for the Tonys". Anyway, I am still debating on what else to do at the party, so I would LOVE to hear any other party ideas and such. Thanks!!!

Sounds like fun. Maybe have the nominated show themed foods. I think someone else on here mentioned that. Like have a different food for every show or something.

that sounds like fun. ill try to think of stuff and reply again if i think of anything fun! how about broadway karaoke? that'd be fun! lol. or not... lol.

Me too, Corine. I would have a Tony party. If anyone in this freakin' city of mine would come. I truly believe I'm the ONLY one who cares. Oh well, more for me... Wait- that doesn't make sense.

You should do some sort of lottery or pool with guessing winners. Or even do it based on something stupid.

Who eats Spam? The knights of the round table do, apparently... a lot.

Anyway.. A couple friends and I are getting together on Tony night and having a grail-shaped cake for Spamalot. I know. I have no originality.

I want to enjoy the show, not surround myself with Philistines. Therefore. I'll make a pitcher of martinis, some shrimp, cheese and crackers.....and on with the show

Party food:
For all the CHEESY SHOWS:
BKLYN- Serve cheese and crackers out of plastic bowls with hefty bags
(It's Cheesy, just like Brooklyn)
Wine- Shiraz, Australian in honor of the divine Dame Edna

That sounds like fun! Can I come? Anyway, how about, uh, Pizza? For "Light in the PIaZZA?" Isn't that terrible? It would have to be extra cheese.
