anyone have some suggestions for songs from shows about family? My sister is getting married, and since our parents are deceased we 're looking for an alternative to the usual schmaltzy options. The ideal would be a fun number that all five siblings could participate in.Thanks
Planning to see this show soon...probably a wed matinee, Does anyone know if any of the regular cast has been regularly skipping the Wed matinee, and/or how the understudies are?...Thanks
Saw Carol last week at Feinsteins... it was just amazing! Talk about presence. I laughed so much it hurt.....especially the Cecille Cessions number. She can put over a song like no one else because even at 84 she is unique in the theatre. By the way she and her husband are adorable.
I want to enjoy the show, not surround myself with Philistines. Therefore. I'll make a pitcher of martinis, some shrimp, cheese and crackers.....and on with the show
Noticed that best on line discounts for The Pillowman are Wed. matinees....Does anyone know if any of the cast is off regularly on Wed's,and if so how are the understudies?
Along with Jacobtsf, i really will see this show. I live near the Poconos and I think one of us should go to report back to the others. Remember SCTV's skits on 3's Company?....She was Miss Joyce DE 1/2 Witt!
Anyone have a recommendation for a good place in the theatre distict?.....Someplace like Joe Allen , or Angus McIndoe , like both of them but I'm looking for a change.
How about "Oh What A Lovely War", it was a late 60s,early 70s musical satirizing World War 2. The music is done in period style, its a very funny show.
