I attended the Tonys a few years ago, 2006 I think. The tickets were around $250, IIRC, for the top balcony at Radio City. It's waaaay up there, but there are large screens so you can see the presenters and award recipients close up. There are interesting presentations on the screens during the television commercials that the viewing public never sees. For me it was a one-time thing, I wouldn't spend the money to do it again, but it sure was fun. (BTW: it's a black-tie event, so if you don't have a tux, and you can wear a 42-long, PM me. You can drop by for a drink before the show and borrow mine)
