But seriously, robbie is right.

And, I think the choice of performance is going to be just fine---there are many factors involved, most of which have not been mentioned here and won't be. So let's just sit back and have a fun time Tony night and enjoy the show. May GG have much success, but whatever will be will be.

I think this is a fine choice.

I love ANOTHER WINTER and AROUND THE WORLD, but we don't want another weird, completely out of context dramatic number like Tonya Pinkins gave for CAROLINE, OR CHANGE.

It's a great song and a great performance, I just wish we could see a little something more from the show, I mean...just a little snippet of something in Act I maybe leading into "Revolutionary Costume".
I dont know- I wont mind Christine performing the song, I just wanted something...different.

As much as I love the song, it's just not "commercial" enough to sell many tickets, and that's what the Tony performance should do, sell tickets. Yes, there won't be a big audience for the Tonys (is there ever?) but some family watching TV who comes across the Tonys and sees this isn't going to think "Wow! That looks really good! I want to see that". They'll think "What the hell was that?" unless they're familar with the documentary. Honestly, I think they'd be better off doing something form the first act.

Hopefully. Sometimes they're generous with clips, sometimes they're not - unfortunately. "You understand."
