Well if you are doing every play and musical and it seems you are
Michael Arden in TIMES should be in their somewhere
as should Twyla for Choreography
and THE TIMES for lighting
and I think Block
Monk and Bundy would be ahead of Brown
also LoveMusik ahead of Poppins
Short ahead of Groff
and Kazee not anywhere in the mix at all
His voice made me cringe .
Cullum will certainly get a nom
as may Hibbard
Kudish, I think not

ACL can't be nominated for Choreo.
Why why why does everyone think Mary Poppins is going to get nominated? I really hope it doesn't. Legally Blonde was better.
I doubt Mary Poppins will be nominated.
Also, I really doubt Brown or The Times... will be nominated for anything.
I agree THE TIMES will not be nominated
But it should be for CHOREOGRAPHY
but if you list all the shows and possible performances
I just felt those should be included.

It's a pretty thorough list. You have done a lot of good work.
Here are my changes:
Musical: Legally Blond over Mary Poppins
Play: Coram Boy will not get a nod...Little Dog Laughed
Actress Musical: I don't think Chenowith is in it this year. Put in Deb Monk or Laura Bell Bundy
Actor Play:Boyd Gaines over Nighy
Featured Actor Play: Not Mahoney or Jefferson Mays or Dennis o'Hare or Colm Meaney. I'd put in Chisolm, Kunken, Stark Sands, and then maybe Niall Buggy
That's for starters.

I'm actually thinking Mary Poppins may get that 4th slot...
Legally Blonde wasn't better than Mary Poppins, it was just more fun.
Why would you say MP would get the fourth spot?

True, but the Tony commitee may think different....We'll see..I just want to hear these nominations right now!
Aside from the predictor being some queen who purchased the domain name "TonyCentral.com" what kind of validity do these laughable predictions even have? Half of the names and titles are misspelled, and it seems that the person who compiled the list slept through half the season.
Jefferson Mays , Dennis O'Hare, or John Mahoney over Sands, Gaines, Jelks or Chisholm---??? Eh.... no !
And Elbrick is MUCH better than Maxwell in "CB"-
FutureAladdin, even you might be disappointed with POPPINS,
it is nowhere the fun of the movie and really has no story or characters to care about.
IMO of course.
LOVEMUSIK will probably get the fourth spot.
I see an artsy nom year.
CURTAINS getting the commercial spot.
are they announcing them live on CBS does anyone know?

Mark Bakalor is no queen. He was born in Ithaca, NY, like I was and no queens were ever born here

I just feel the Best Musical noms. will be split into artsy and commercial because there has been much of both....BroadwaySinger2's prediction seems most accurate to me just because you have the 2 strongest shows of the season which are both artsy: Spring Awakening and Grey Gardens..and then you have the two biggest commercial shows: Legally Blonde, and Mary Poppins
Why would splitting them into commercial and artsy matter?

It doesn't matter, that's just my prediction.
Not that I think SPRING AWAKENING is "art".
But neither SPRING, GREY, or LOVEMUSIK will be commercial hits.
So of the reat of the crop I think CURTAINS will the get the spot.
And I think a good Musical Comedy can be ART also.
