I just hope THE COLOR PURPLE wins at least two or three awards.

I have my fingers crossed for Fields and LaChanze although I wouldn't really mind if LuPone beat LaChanze as they are both giving the performances of their lives right now.

Geez, the past few years have been jam-packed with talented women (Menzel, Chenoweth, Murphy, LuPone, Pinkins, LaChanze, Applegate, Scott, Dilly, Clark, O'Hara, Foster, Leavel, Gleason, Lawrence, Keenan-Bolger, Ramirez, Rivera............)

Well, not to undermine the men, we've also had Butz, Lithgow, Curry, Jackman etc etc etc....

I would love for this to really happen! However it would be kind of sad if Jersey Boys won nothing...although I honestly don't know what I'd give them.

I almost wish that Michael and JLY could tie for lead actor because they both deserve it.
