Too good to miss :)

"A fictional account of what might have been Ernest Hemingway's final challenge"

Who could resist Too Close to the Sun? I've read better copy from the Penzance Amateur Light Operatic Company!

And it's a musical. I wonder what the creative genesis of this project was actually like.

"I've decided to write a musical."
"Ooh, about what?"
"Ernest Hemingway shooting himself."
"That sounds lovely. What happens?"
"He shoots himself."
"Before that."
"Oh, I don't know. I'll make something up."

I kind of as well actually. Not in an excited way, more curious.

Reviews???

From what i've read it aint good.

Im going tomorrow night (Sat)!

Can it be worse?
Boy did i suffer that night at the Duchess!

Putty In Her Hands! lol The face she is making is similar to what the rest of the 60 or 70 in the audience were making (when they wern't laughing!)

The last time i squirmed at The Comedy was for a short lived horror called 'Spin Of The Wheel', 22 years ago.
It starred Maria Friedman and was gone after 3 weeks!
Devonian saw this little masterpiece too.

That mask looks like something I made out of plasticine after one too many G&T's!

But to return to topic -Is this really about the last days of Ernest Hemingway?

Cool! 'cos I got an idea for "The Sound of Dylan"!!!!

It's set in a pub with a pi**ed Welsh poet centre stage remembering a childs Chistmas in Wales............
