Kelli's voice is really wasted in South Pacific. I wish she were cast in another show where she can showcase her amazing upper register.

Maureen McGovern sang some soprano roles early in her early musical theater career. Her coloratura in Pirates of Penzance was remakable. However she is cleary an alto with an impressive upper register/extension; but she certainly has sung on broadway and in touring productions in soprano keys.

Thanks JJC for the correction, I thought she was an alto. I guess I was right.
