Hey all you GTA-ers,

Now taht Fringe is started I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we could share reviews and news about it. The shows I think I am gonna see are "Huffing Lysol", "Nevil" and "Giant Killer Sharks: The Musical". The first two are written by good friends of mine (both shows are quite amazing - I have seen earlier versions of them), and the second show is put together by some friends-of-friends.

Anyone see anything good? What shows are you gonna try and get out to?

I don't know if I'll get up to the city because of my theatre program, but two of my past and present teacher's opened The Catering Queen last night and it sounds good.

I'm booked to visit Toronto from this Thursday until Monday, and didn't know there would be a fringe fest then! So thanks for the tips MarkCohen and LinkLarkinWannabe--those fringe festival programs are always intimidating because there are so many things going on all the time in so many venues. At the other end of the spectrum (in budget, not quality, I fear), I am going to see "Lord of the Rings(:The Musical)"--no high anticipation here, I just thought it was my duty to pay a visit before it packs up and leaves for London--have either of you (or anyone else reading this) seen LOTR: The Musical? Or have any other Fringe Fest tips?

akiva, did you see any of the SummerWorks shows? I was in town last weekend and caught a show that a family friend was in, called The Review. Was lots of fun. :)
