Yeah is this Pieces of Eight? I have a demo of it and it's not bad--always has fascinated me partly because it had its premiere at the CItadel Theatre in my hometown of Edmonton when I was 5...

The cast of 14 — which has yet to be announced — will also perform traditional sea chanties.

In Houston, the Alley Theatre did the World Premiere by Ken Ludwig.
The link is to their website where you can find a ton of info.

Posted: 7/11/07 at 2:47pmI saw the Alley production, and I can't imagine that version going to Broadway or anywhere else. The acting and sets were quite good, but the play itself was just plain boring. Ludwig has talent, but it didn't show in this work. Some serious retooling is needed for this show to succeed.
