looking for two tickets to Book of Mormon on Sat Jan. 9 at 8pm. Willing to pay around 100 a piece...does anyone know what site to go to to get tickets around the price. All the tickets on line are like 300 a piece or more and i don't want to chance the lottery. Any help would be wonderful. thank you
Their official vendor is now Ticketmaster. (But if you can, I'd just come into the city and go to the box office.)

I managed to get lottery tickets on the first try--since it is same time as Hamilton think that's where the lottery crowds will be. They are offering some tickets for Broadway week for $160 each but doesn't look like they have any Sat dates left. Were on goldstar when they toured in Boston but guess they don't need it for Broadway.

Couldn't see ticketmaster site since it was being maintained but there was an ad on broadwayworld for tickpick.com for $10 credit and found pair of tickets for your date for $193 each. Not a bargain but there are no extra fees like stubhub so might be better option...
Trying to get cheap tickets to any popular show for "this saturday night" is rarely going to be simple.
You gotta either plan better or be prepared to pay more

mcsquared, Broadway Week tickets aren't onsale for this week. It doesn't begin until January 19th. Also, they're not even onsale yet, so not sure where you got the "doesn't look like they have any Sat dates left. "
The best bet would be to go to the box office on Saturday and try for regular full price, non premium.

There are $99 seats for Saturday, but since the show is nearly sold out at this point, they aren't together. But there are only two left in the rear mezz at that price. The regular price for this Saturday night is $179, though, so once those two are sold, your only hope is for someone on StubHub to reduce their tickets to below what they paid, which seems unlikely as the show will sell out.
I did standing room. It was perfectly fine and a totally unobstructed view of the stage. I stood in line for about 3 and a half hours.
Yeah, the wait in line for standing room isn't that bad at all these days. Just be sure you stretch a bit!

Sorry, yes neonlights, didn't mean to imply Broadway week was during Jan 9, just meant if he could be flexible on dates at all it could be option. Nycgo has a page about Broadway week and seems to have the available dates for Book of Mormon which do not include Saturdays. If it is not the case, should drop a line to show-score.com since they are the ones listing this page as source for buying the Broadway week tix.

Anyone who looks to buy seats for this anywhere else but the box office or Ticketmaster is brainless. That's always the cheapest way to get, and I recently saw this show for $99, Orch seats. Awesome view...thru ticketmaster
