Hello everyone. Once again I'm going to NYC and I would love your recommendation for some shows! I highly value your opinions because last year you guys convinced me to see The Great Comet and in 2015 you changed my mind about Fun Home. They're among my favorites now so I believe that you get my point :)
Right now I have two slots open on my schedule: the matinee on Wednesday and Tuesday night. I already have tickets for the following shows:
- The Play That Goes Wrong
- My Fair Lady
- The Band's Visit
- Three Tall Women
- Angels in America
- Harry Potter
- Once In This Island
- Spongebob
Besides these shows, I already saw Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, Come from Away, The Book of Mormon and Phantom. I would love to see your recommendations for the remaining two slots :)

I would for sure add Mean Girls to your list. And I know you've already seen Waitress but Katharine McPhee is truly remarkable as Jenna.

Oh, yes. If you haven’t seen Dolly, definitely catch that. Dolly and TBV were the highlights of my November trip.

Hello, Dolly! definitely, and I always recommend School of Rock if you haven't already seen it.

I knew that I was missing something important! Thanks for reminding me about Hello, Dolly!, already got tickets :)
For the last slot, what about Sleep no More? Seems like an interesting experience.

Hello Dolly & The Boys in the Band are both limited shows that are amazing. Waitress is good and Mean Girls is eh but both are likely to be running for a couple of years. Whereas Hello Dolly and The Boys in the Band will close and are both so good!

Sleep No More is a fully immersive show. I wanted to see it at one point, but after seeing Then She Fell, I decided fully immersive shows are probably not for me. Plus, I hear there is a lot of stair climbing and walking for three hours and I have bad knees. For me, Sweeney Todd was the perfect mix of immersion. If Sleep No More appeals to you, I would recommend you go to the late night performances. That would free you up to still see Sweeney or The Boys in the Band.

I'd say Mean Girls for your last one... but it's really a matter of your own preferences. I appreciated the design & details of Sleep No More, but had a hard time not rolling my eyes at the pretentiousness of it all. Not my cup of tea.
Mean Girls isn't perfect, but I was smiling the whole night - it's just fun and entertaining. And the singing is great.

I will also throw my hat in the ring for:
Hello, Dolly: Agree that this should be seen.
Mean Girls: Songs themselves are kind of eh, but a fun show.
I don't know which of the older shows you have seen:
Kinky Boots, IMHO remains a fun, entertaining show, good music.
Otherwise...I mean...you've seen the Lion King, right? If you haven't seen Lion King...
