Actually, nothing I said is really "opinion." I know I'm not his target, and I'm not going to comment on whether his script's are funny, or direction is good, etc.
But he is DEFINITELY all of those things I said...

I love Tyler Perry's plays.
I saw What's Done In the Dark and Madea Goes To Jail on stage at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. People were screaming with laughter during both shows. I have never heard a reaction from the audience to anything like that before or since.
I was also caught up in the laughter to the point my throat hurt.
Good clean fun, I say.

I'm still waiting what messages his plays are about.
From previews, it looks like the same movie over and over and over again.

Actually they aren't the same movie. The trailer may seem that way but they are there own shows that happen to tie into each other. I really don't know about the messages I was blowing that out my ass in the heat of the moment. They are just really at heart FUN.

I heart Tyler Perry big time! i think he's hilariously funny and creates great work, stage and film! and actually many people of african decent (politically correct way
) call their grandmothers or the head mother of the family madea, which is short for ma dear.
