I'm getting VERY nervous. Check this out guys.

The list price is back down to 21.99.

Circuit City's tracklisting is one disc highlights.

I will NOT settle for this tracklisting. This is terrible.
I am praying it will still be double disc.

List price of $21.98 is usually a price for a single disc when it comes to Nonesuch.

Could it be possible that they are makign two? Did we ever stop and think of that?

Um rent has 2 cd set and the highlights same for les mis and phantom...not everyone NEEDS the full cd

I think it would be a bit expensive for Nonesuch to distribute two seperate verions.

There seems to have been a lot of confusion regarding this recording. I was going to order mine today, but I think I'll wait a day or two to see if any news turns up about it. I'm sure Rob will give us a write-up notice if anything changes.

Don't panic too much just yet, people. Maybe someone accidentally uploaded the wrong track list- it seems to me that at one point in the past, it WAS supposed to be a single disc.

I've been meaning to ask this: Why is Pretty Woman on disc two? Isn't A Little Priest still the Act One closer. Did they change it in the revival? I don't see anyone questioning it.

This is just my instinct but-I think they recorded the entire score, and planned to do 1 disc. Somewhere in mastering, they must have changed it to 2 discs, hence the huge price change on Amazon. Perhaps they told the sellers it would be one disc, and changed their minds to make it 2. I have no doubt it will be 2 discs, since Nonesuch lists it as two.

It may be that they ran out of space on disk one for all of the the first act. Or, that the material from act two wasn't enough to warrant a whole disk - instead of scrapping the second disk, they moved some songs from act one to the second disk.

Nonesuch usually charges $19.99 as the list price for their single disc items.

They originally had Sweeney as 24.99 when they announced it would be 2 discs.

$21.99 to me is a single disc price.

I don't know anymore. I am so damn confused. And if this turns out to be highlights and I don't have my "Kiss Me(s)" - I am going to be one angry boy.

Ok. Thanks for the update. It just seemed weired that the 2nd disc started with Pretty Women. Now that you mention it the first disc does seem awfully full.

This is awful news! I was planning to buy from Circuit City (walking distance from my house), but if that's what they're selling...

It's too little difference for them to make two recordings.
What would they call them?
The "Highlights" Album and the "A Little Bit More Than Highlights" Album?

I'm very nervous.
