I know Im going to regret this....but!
What do you think were some of the most underated performances ...and lets try and keep it in contemporary Broadway
I have to say Stephen DeRosa in INTO THE WOODS, Gregg Edelman in INTO THE WOODS, and ASA SOMERS in Dance of the Vampires

Talk about being afraid to say something . . . I really liked Carole Shelley in WICKED. It seems that between all the talk about 'the girls' and Joel and which hottie is hot or not - or even if the show deserves to exist - her dignity and very powerful and grounded portrayal went unnoticed.

Maybe it's my memory acting up again, but I don't remember a lot of talk about John Dossett in Gypsy. I thought he was wonderful.

While I didn't like Tammy in Gypsy, I thought John Dossett was beyond excellent in that show!

When John Barrowman sang "unworthy of your love" with Ruthie Henshall I about lost my mind. It was so fantastic, and if you watch his acting while she is singing "Sooner or Later" its just hot....
DeRosa's Baker isn't everyone's fav but it struck a chord with me. I love you anyway SticktoPriest :)

Not the most amazing of musicals, but Manu Narayan's performance as Akaash in Bombay Dreams is amazing. He definitely deserves more credit than he's gotten.

Gregg was nominated for 1776 Im almost positive.
LOVE John Dossett.
LOVED Marc Kudisch in SCARLET PIMPERNEL...finally someone managed a french accent.

I didn't like Tammy Blanchard nor John Dossett in GYPSY. Jonathan Hadary was a great Herbie to Tyne Daly's Rose. John Dossett...I don't know. Just didn't get it. I loved Tammy in Me and My Shadows, but was not impressed with her Louise.

Was he? Well then good for him, I couldn't for the life of me remember.

Oh if you want to talk about The Scarlet Pimpernel, I loved Terrence Mann in it.
I also think Jarrod Emick was underated as Brad in Rocky Horror.

When Jarrod Emmick crawled backwards on his knees while singing in his falsetto during the "Floor Show"...well...I think I speak for many when I say "Dear God Get my a Towel"
terrence mann could also make me do some very bad things...HAPPILY!

I miss seeing Jarrod in that floor show! I also miss listening to him sing "Once and Awhile." Grr now I have to get out my CD to get a fix.

OHHHH Jimmy Barbour....MEOW...HOT HOT HOT...oh and ofcourse talented.
I have to say Anne Heche in Twentieth Century was just fantastic. I have never watched someone do SO much with a character like that, she was great.

Douglas Sills agree, he is great. Carole Shelley is hilarious...but its not a great part nor was Little Shop. I also thought Kerry O'Malley was underappreciated.

I though Edelmann got the deserved accolades. I didn't think he was amazing.

I suppose De Rosa. I thought Dossett was wrong for Herbie. His choices at least.

Jessica Boevers...A Little Night Music...I've heard a lot about John Barrowman but never seen him or heard him.
