The Hellinger isn't open 24/7 like most churches but whenever there is a service (almost all day on a Sat and a Sun) anyone is welcome to go in take a seat and look around! The place is always packed out and there is no restriction where you walk except backstage.
The people working there and running the place are very welcoming.
It will blow your mind as to how well preserved it is but at the same time break your heart it will never be a live theatre again.
BEWARE!- what you hear on stage may make you stay longer than you originally planned!

Since you pointed out earlier that you can see the ANNIE billboard in the movie FAME, I'll add that you can see the Pussycat in a scene from ALL THAT JAZZ.

These shots sure bring back a lot of memories. Thanks.
