US site for MAMMA MIA!: The Movie updated with full song clips!

Yessiree... the US site for MAMMA MIA!: The Movie has finally been updated and is loads better than the recently updated UK site.

Also, the song clips are the ENTIRE songs not just snippets!

Here are the full songs on the site:

"Dancing Queen"
"Mamma Mia"
"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!"
"Take a Chance on Me"
"Lay All Your Love on Me"
"I Have a Dream"
and yes... "The Winner Takes it All"

UPDATED: Originally, the "Lay All Your Love on Me" and "I Have a Dream" (Reprise) were from the Original London Cast Recording. They were replaced with the film soundtrack versions on Tuesday June 10th.

Funny...maybe I'm missing something but they sound like the London Cast Recording to me.

Especially "Lay All Your Love On Me." That's definitely not Dominic Cooper.

Wow. I'm REALLY upset that "Take a Chance on Me" barely uses Julie Walters' incredible talents. The song contains much more solo work for Rosie in the stage show and I was really looking forward to her tearing this up. Instead, it's basically just a continuous repeating of the chorus, sung by...the chorus.

Lame.

Meryl singing in this is just breathtaking. "The winner takes it All" gives me chills. Also Mamma Mia is Amazing!!! Can't wait

It sucks that they didn't restore the "when you slammed the door, I think you'd know, that you won't be away too long, you know that I'm not that strong," verse. I take it it just wouldn't make sense for dramatic purposes, but still... I just think that as it stands the title song is way too repetitive.
Meryl sings definitive versions of these songs and she sounds like she is having a blast.

I can only imagine what she could have done with Evita.
Oh well, at least we're finally getting her in a movie musical (it's not SWEENEY TODD, but hey, it's something).

ray-andallthatjazz86 -- let it go, already. You keep bitchin' about lyric changes from the original version to the stage-version. They were changed to fit the plotline of the show.

I find it amusing that all this nit-picking is coming from someone who hasn't even SEEN the show nor heard the score, just the selected tracks showing-up now. ABBA fans (myself included) and fans of the show were never ONCE bothered by these modifications, but you sure are. re: US site for MAMMA MIA!: The Movie updated with full song clips!

Brody, as I've said every time I bitch about that lyric change, I'm aware it was probably done to actually fit the storyline but it still bothers me, not because I'm an ABBA purist (couldn't care less) but for lyric purposes the song just get too repetitive. And I own the cast recording, so I HAVE heard the score, just don't care to see the show.
Plus, as an ABBA fan--which you profess to be--I enjoy that verse and it would've been fun to have Meryl sing it.
Either way, Brody, go see your GLORY HOLES bootleg, and reminisce about your dinner parties with Ann Reinking and your affairs with Raul Esparza (didn't know poor thing had such a bad taste).

I really can't wait until July 18th now. I saw the trailer earlier when I went to see 'What Happens in Vegas.' It was the only trailer I got excited about.

...and yes, she could have elevated Evita and Sweeney Todd a notch closer to movie musical classics status.

Why would they put London cast recording clips on the website? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I wonder how long it will take for the clips to be ripped and available for trade? lol

Also love the killer instrumental break in the middle of "Gimme Gimme" -- HOT! :)
