Yep - that's definitely the American site.

I'm in the process of ripping them I'll let you know when I upload them.
Who is Stellan Skarsgrd? Even on the American site, he looks as though he's entering the Eurovision Song Contest.
Thank You!!! I love Meryl's version of the title song and I love Dancing Queen. The Winner Takes It All is better than I thought. Those songs are headed to my iPod! If I can rip them of course.
I wasn't sure which ones were from the OLCR or the soundtrack so I did all of them.

Sounds fantastic! Can't wait until this movie comes out!
Hey Neal how are you?
Wow! Thanks for the zip file! You rock! And Meryl's WTIA is freakin' awesome!!!
One question though, "Take A Chance On Me" and "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" seem to be more like the ABBA originals than the stage show, so I'm curious if they've re-done these tracks for publicity or if they've changed how they're done...
Nope. The full recreation to the original ABBA versions is fully intentional. The stage-version used a regular orchestra which attempted to fully recreate the intended ABBA sound (Benny and Bjorn demanded this), but for all the obvious reasons, had some limitations.
For the film soundtrack, there were no limitations therefore the full ABBA studio essence was fully captured and very well intended.
A million thanks has to be given to Benny and Bjorn who never seized full control of all things ABBA and MAMMA MIA! Anything and everything that is done to either property is fully executed by both of them. They are also producers of all things MAMMA MIA! (yes, including the soundtrack and the film-version).
It's definitely nice to have a (legal) version of The Winner Takes it All not sung by that horrible woman from the Original London cast.
I am kind of disappointed that she bails out on the last note, though.

I am glad that the Movie sound track doesn't have the "original 70's sound" cause that makes it more terrible. Its more show tune sounding that the original. It's easier to hear the solo's and there not the huge echoy re-verb in the back round. Right?
...the first thing to make me smile in weeks.
Thanks Dom.
E.Davis you sent a pm, but I can't reply, you must change your PM setting.
Is that really Julie Walters beneath the head-dress and specs or is it a dance double?
Yup... that is all Julie Walters. She dances quite a bit in the movie.
The movie versions of Lay All Your Love on Me and I Have a Dream are up on the site now.
Anyone make MP3s of these new tracks yet?
Let us know.

The daughter's vibrato is driving me crazy. But she has a very nice tone.
Aaand I just found out that she was Karen in Mean Girls :o
I knew that was coming.
Amanda Seyfried has done wonderful work, she didn't just come out of nowhere. I think my favorite performance of hers was as Lily Kane in VERONICA MARS, she was sexy, eerie, funny, charming, and sad all at the same time. I also really enjoy her in the few episodes I've seen of BIG LOVE, not sure if she's still with the show though.
I'm sure she'll be great in this movie, so far judging from the previews, I'm really liking her.
I am so excited for this movie...which is unsurprising really. I have to give credit though to the people who do the site for the movie, it's very nice.
Which songs from the movie website are from the OLC and which ones are from the film soundtrack.
"Lay all Your Love" and "I have a Dream" the rest are the movie cast

That's not true, someone just pointed out that the movie version of those are now on the site too. They're not the OLC anymore.
