As someone who doesn't even know the better known works of ALW much less the lesser known works I have to say I really got a kick out of this concert. I'm almost grateful Rob pretty much relentlessly hounded until we caved in. Thanks Rob! re: Unexpected Songs: The Lesser Known Tunes of Andrew Lloyd Webber - Febru

Sure there were some songs where my mind was wandering to a far away place but 80% of it kept my attention and made me want to go out and buy some ALW albums, especially Whistle Down the Wind.

Many thanks to Eddie and Rob (and Jamie) for hosting a very fun afterparty and for their attendance at an even funnier after-afterparty. Oh and Matthew Rask who didn't host but did attend (even if you did spit all over me). Great to meet robbiej (and his other half) as well and can't wait to see him in his upcoming project.

"I love how Playbill does not mention who is even producing the concert."

Playbill.com has always been very supportive of our events and we appreciate that. The lack of mention of BroadwayWorld.com is not an issue at all and perfectly understandable. The important thing is that the information about a concert like this was, which raises money for BC/EFA gets to as many people as possible who might want to come and listen to their favorite performers (and discover new ones!).

Just thought it was odd that they did not mention who was producing the event. That's all.

So...I was waiting outside to go in for John Tartaglia and I was really trying to figure out who everyone was! I really need to attend a BWW event so I can put all of the names (and personalities) with faces!!

I'm glad the concert went well - I would have loved to see it!

Initially I went to the concert out of my obligation to BWW. The thought of sitting through the unexpected, lesser known songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber in all honesty seemed boring to me. I was proven wrong though... I'm sitting at my desk this morning with a smile on my face thinking about last nights concert. I searched for a word to use to describe it and amazing came to mind but then I thought that would definitely be an understatement. So, now I'm lost for a word that would top amazing, LOL! By far, the performers and the song selections totally complimented each other. You would have never thought most of the performers recently learned the songs they sang. Each made the song their own. I wish I had the time to write about each performer but then there wouldn't be enough time in the day, :-P.

So, thank you to all involved, you did an absolutely wonderful job! I do have one complaint about Jamie's announcing though... He didn't give the audience a change to regroup after Marty Thomas performed before he brought on the next performer. For those of you were there you know exactly what I'm talking about! re: Unexpected Songs: The Lesser Known Tunes of Andrew Lloyd Webber - Febru.

I haven't posted in a REALLY long time, but I just wanted to say good show Rob. :)
This was my first BWW event and it was great. I did drift during a couple of songs, but I guess that's expected when it's a mix of different performers.
Overall, a lot of fun and I would definitely attend another. :)

I'm still in complete bliss about last night's concert.
A much deserved kudo's to the entire team of creative crew, performers and that GLORIOUS band, under the direction of the skilled Mark Hartman the music of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber truly soared. I can say with honesty it was one of the best evenings I've spent in the city in some time. I can't pick a highlight, but I will say the emotional pairing of Tina Maddigan and Joe Machota on "I Believe My Heart" had me a teary eyed mess, such an honest and powerful moment, the lyrics of the song became alive and real as it related to their own reunion, bravo on casting them both. I'd also like to say, the talented "boy band" UPSTAGE was a suprise and thrill. The entire concert was an inspired delight, again, many thanks for creating such an event for a worthy cause, BWW should be proud.

The Sophie and Sky chemistry is back, but then again, did it ever end? I think not. BoxFive- I heard that "moment" was one of the highlights of the night.
