Okay gang. I need any suggestions you may have for a musical theatre duet (for male/female). The song should be upbeat in message but doesn't have to be uptempo in meter.

Any thoughts?

Oh, as long as I'm thinking of Anything Goes, "Friendship" is definitely upbeat.

"Carried Away" from On the Town- kind of hokey but cute
"There Once Was a Man" from Pajama Game- lots of fun, very fast
"It's De-Lovely" from some Porter show and often put in Anything Goes, sometimes as a duet- because the world is less upbeat without Cole Porter
