Update from Stephanie J. Block 4/13

"Ok...being sick... NOT FUN, right? But on the Opening week of your Broadway Show...you got to be kidding me?!@#

After a week of fighting "the sick" and then eventually losing to it, I managed to make a comeback earlier this week. I want to make a sincere apology to those who came to the show when I was absent. Trust me, that was not how I envisioned last week to play out. No one works a year and a half on a project and decides to miss what they've worked so hard to finally achieve.

I have to thank Sebastian (who I got sick...sorry, honey), my family, my friends and agents who helped me breathe and heal and gave me the confidence to go on Opening Night when I truly did not know how I was going to manage 2 1/2 hours onstage. THANK GOD I DID!!!! The experience was one I will never forget and cannot adequately express in words. What a high! That "high" also got me through Friday... but, unfortunately, there was no way to kill this "thing" except to get back on meds, rest and look forward to starting again on Tuesday.

Those who supported me with their prayers, cards, flowers, it was so empowering to receive your love and strength. You all continue to amaze me and I will forever be grateful TO you and FOR you!

Stephanie is great! When I saw her in "Wicked" in St. Louis she went on ill because some friends of her's had flown in expressly to see her. Even though she was sick and it was very cold, she still signed autographs at the stage door after the show! A real trouper!

Have they gotten married yet? I know they're engaged, but something Stephanie said in a castcom made it sound like the wedding was imminent, if not already in the past.

Actually, yes. She does have a website of her own. But then you knew that already because the last time I posted about it being relaunched and updated you wrote:

Seems you were really frustrated about not being able to see the changes. So are you still bitter about your dial up and it not loading up quick enough for you? Cause if so, you should be happy I posted the message for you. Either way, no need to personally attack me.

I think what would make the most sense would be to have one all-inclusive "For People Who Actually Give A **** About THE PIRATE QUEEN" Thread. Thread after thread after thread is getting tedious. Not to mention bumping them all over and over.

No one's interested. Post it on the WICKED tour message board.

musicalsFan, as other people have already posted, why do you find it necessary to post on a thread you're not interested in. I bypass threads all the time that I don't want to read. And honestly, I'm sure there are lots of people who aren't necessarily Stephanie J. Block fans who don't go to her website but who are interested to read this anyway. Popular isn't hurting anyone by posting.

Honestly, I like the updates. I'm a Stephanie fan but don't go to her website. And if Popular only posted in Wicked tour forums I certainly wouldn't find them because I definitely don't frequent those.

It is obsessive.

Popular's behavior stands out on this message board. I don't have to read them; the title of the posts says it all. 99.9999% of them have been about SJB or PQ.

Someone else pointing out this obsessive behavior to him/her is a good thing. He/she is coming across as some crazy SJB groupie. And it is kinda scary. Lucky he/she isn't in NYC area. Otherwise, would he/she be at the stage door every day?

No other fan - at the moment - does this for their favorite actor/actress. Certainly not as consistently, constantly. Most of the other Wicked groupies seem to have stopped doing this. The Idina groupies and the Kristin groupies are all over at their own message boards.

Seems like Wanna Be A Foster seems to understand what is going on here.

Go Steph! And I agree, if you aren't interested in the subject, don't click on it....... And then complain about it after you clicked on something you aren't interested in? Gimme a break....
