So glad I got to watch it that night!...It was a really good excerpt from the show, and Kelli was fantastic to the end...even as the music had ended, and Letterman had approached them already, she shook the "water" off her hair one last time

I heard that the mic is in the costume. Apparently she's wearing a wig in this scene, and the next scene either she changes to another wig or her own hair.
