I went by the theater today to get tickets for April and they had a lot of availability. There seemed to be work going on in the theater but it seemed minimal and they didn't have any sinage in front of the theatre except the basic marquee, shouldn't they be in tech and farther along if they start previews next week?
I heard a rumor last week that they almost pulled the plug on the show a couple weeks ago, I wonder if they're having issues with selling tickets?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing Estelle Parsons on stage again.
I was at Chelsea Studios today and they were in rehearsals there.
Typically you'll do a couple 10 out of 12s (meaning you work 10 hours out of 12 hours) for a tech and then start previews. So, I would imagine for a show that isn't too tech heavy, they could have one day of tech and then start previews the next day.
