It's just Harriet scheming, but that could be great.

And Harriet Harris? A dream. I didn't see Baranski and Harris do this a couple of years ago at the Kennedy Center, but Clark is a much better idea, and boy, could she sing it!

Posted: 3/28/13 at 10:39amI saw her do Vera in DC with Christine Baranski and she nailed the part. The show came alive every time she was on stage. I think it would be great if they did it and switched off parts. I would love to see what Ms. Harris could do with the part of Mame.

I think she'd be delightful, I think Clark and Donna Murphy would be my top choices for Mame actually, though they'd also be dynamo as Mame/Vera.

Harriet was indeed a wonderful Vera in DC, but I'd like to see one of our other aging ingenues take a shot at the part to establish a character actor cred in her mid years.
