Hi friends!
I'm sorry this is another My-Fair-Lady-seating thread. I was looking for tickets to see this on my birthday, and saw all the Center Orchestra seats were gone (or were Premium).
Between a far-side Orchestra seat, and a Dead Center, row B loge seat, I decided to go with the latter. The pics I saw at ViewFromMySeat gave me some peace, but I just saw several comments advising against it here (I even saw one saying it's as far as a Balcony seat at other theatres) and I feel it wasn't the right choice.
Does anyone have any (hopefully positive) experiences sitting there? I do favour seeing all of the production by sacrificing getting to see facial expressions with the naked eye. I realistically have only one chance at seeing MFL 'cause I don't live in the US.

Three words: Bring your binoculars.
That's not a diss. MFL is worth seeing only if you can take in the nuances of those performances close up. We brought our pair and enjoyed the show from Row C Center Loge as long as we were looking through the binoculars. Less so when we weren't.

I disagree with the above poster. Sat slightly off center in the loge and enjoyed it thoroughly with no binoculars

Posted: 7/15/18 at 5:54amI wouldn't worry...it'll be a great seat. I've been in that row (for South Pacific) and sat further back for MFL....I have NO complaints about what I could see.

In looking at all of the pictures I could find of the Vivian Beaumont it didn’t look that high or that far back. Will definitely report back here as well (just as an FYI) once I’ve attended the performance.

The loge at the Beaumont offers a fantastic view.

I’ve sat in the loge before (for War Horse) and thought it was too high and too far back.
I’ve sat in the orchestra several times for a few different productions via LincTix and they were always all the way left and right, but close to the stage, and thought the seats were fantastic.
Since it’s telecharge, it doesn’t hurt to call to ask and exchange your seat (especially if it’s for a slightly more expensive one). They’re usually very accommodating.

I sat in the first row of the Loge for MFL and I thought it was great. Not sure why you'd bring binoculars, it's not that far back.

^ My 62-year-old eyes wanted to see what all the excitement was about over Lauren Ambrose's nuanced performance or the details in Catherine Zuber's costumes, none of which would carry without my Bi-nocks. Not sure what you're not sure about. I bring them along whenever I'm a ways back and I enjoy the show exponentially more.
Again, its not a diss on the VB Loge. Sheesh.

I have a mild case of vertigo so I tend to sit in Orchestra whenever possible. The seats here are a little too high for me. The pitch is somewhat steep and looking down toward the stage gave me a headache and also a mild case of anxiety if that sways your decision any!

I've seen MFL twice, once in the last row of the loge/mezz and the other time in far side orchestra (5th row). Of the two, I preferred far side orchestra. However, the last row of the loge was still a pretty good seat. It was full view and can see the choreography a lot better.
When I sat last row in the loge, it was opening night and a lot of bway celebs sat in front center loge. Just an fyi that your seat is pretty good.

Don't worry, you'll be fine. I saw it from A 211 in the Loge. Yes, it's a bit far back and it is high up, but still a great view. I always bring my binoculars and recommend you do so. It lets you see the actors, costumes, set props up close. I'll use my binoculars every so often for a "close-up" and then sit back and enjoy the rest. Enjoy :)

When I sat in the third row loge for The King and I I thought the view was pretty spectacular. I loved being able to see the ship and the full stage and then seeing "I Whistle a Happy Tune" performed on that ship from the loge.

I sat in the loge for The King & I, even further back, than Scotty. I thought it was a great view.

I’ve definitely earmarked this thread so I can remember to post next month when I get back. I’ll also take a few pictures before and after the show if I can to use as reference.
If anyone else can add opinions it would certainly help.
