To the Broadway Gods/Fans:

A strong rumour is floating around that pop vocalist and songwrite Tiffany (Of "I Think We're Alone Now", "Couldve Been", etc. Fame) is looking to make her broadway debut. Any Suggestions...?

How about we just send all the pop stars to Rent...keep them all in one show that's more their style.

Tiffany would be amazing in rent, either as Maureen or Mimi...

However, Tiffany is a true vocalist, not only a pop singer or a rock performer. She has amazing range, and an amazingly pure and full voice, RENT is not her only option.

yes lets put more 40 year old in Rent pretending to play 20 somethings. Actually I saw a clip of Tiffany trying to sing in a bar on tv. It was kinda sad it looked like everyone there didn't even notice she was onstage lol.

Debbie Gibson was OK in Les Mis and pretty good in BatB. Fun fact: while in Les Mis, she dated Kevin Wright, curly headed member of the incredible Rockapella. he was, at the time, playing Joly.

Wasn't Daphne in her 40s? If that's not true, I'm sorry. I know I heard it somewhere.

I say revive Cabaret and put Tiffany as Sally Bowles. She'll probably be 50 by the time that rolls around.

Why am I not surprised to find DDTRUITT on this thread after the subject of age reared it's ugly head once again. You are such a plethora of info DD, I really cannot imagine what we would do without you! And yes, Tiffany is younger than most of the current and past cast members of RENT. Right DD?, I mean on matters of age, we should all bow to you and your vast knowledge.

Actually Zoran, I love Margo but he/she's a "bit off".

And to answer you DD, "why" it really bothers me is, you're a one trick-"poster". You only show up to correct casting, someone's age, real or press wise, who went in for what, how they did, what they had for breakfast, what range they sing in, how old they were in 94, so they must be "this" age now.... It's indiscreet and you should know better. If you ever posted on a thread, NOT as a know it all, and "my word is law" way, I might find you the least bit more tolerable. As it stands, that is not the case.

I also speak for myself here, but I don't particularly care or need to see the cast list of PaperMILL's Grease, or any PaperMILL production. That goes double for Julia Murney musing's. Does that answer your question?

Is in her early thirties? Maybe she can play Belle or Babette in "Beauty and the Beast"
