Book problems nonwithstanding, the score is fantastic and the show deserves plenty of goosebump-inducing moments. If you're not intimately familiar with Broadway shows you'll love it - most of the problems are only apparent to those of us who see shows year round.

I'll liken it to Newsies. It's quite flawed but audiences love it anyway.


My ranking: 6. The day I watched my kids watch it: 10 -- to them it was magical. (If I ranked it for the show it still would have been a 5 or 6.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
