<< And fyi - I had gotten great orch seats for "All Shook Up" just before it closed for only $27.50 >>
I was referring to when they first went on sale. Balc seats were $19.50. $45 for "WSS" for the same seat.

Nope. They were 41.50 when the show started, and within a few months went to 46.50

I just gotta chime in and go back to the original thread topic and say that I am so excited that tickets for WSS went onsale today!
As for Fosse making his "waste of time" comment...some people are just excited about the show and like to have that physical ticket to get them excited about the show! It's not a waste of time, it's just enthusiasm for a new show (or a revival, in this case) hitting Broadway.

I'm excited for the show, but anyone buying tickets this far in advance is an idiot. The Palace has its own zip code, I doubt they'll be able to fill it up.

While I agree that it might be better to wait out before buying tickets to this show, why call someone an idiot for wanting to buy tickets in advance? If someone wants to buy full price tickets, that's their business. Nothing wrong with that.

It's very frustrating to see Row Q be the best seats available (without paying premium) for Easter Weekend when I am planning my next trip to NYC.

It's a popular visiting weekend. You could also try calling telecharge...they often can find you better seats than on line.

dramamama611, I really think they are holding back on releasing the tickets. I tried other dates as well and the best is either Row P or Q.

After the first of the year, a lot of tickets should be available along with discounts. Something tells me the normal slow months will be slower this year.
Not sure if we will see it but if so it will have to be discounted. Between seeing a stage version & the movie I am not rushing out to get them.
