I think even if Hamilton wasn't in the running this year, Waitress still wouldn't have swept the Tonys.

I agree, I think School Of Rock might gotten a couple of Tony's if not for "Hamilton", especially Alex Brightman.

No, I think Shuffle Along... probably would've won.

They'd have probably split pretty evenly if not for Hamilton. I'd guess Shuffle Along best musical, Waitress or Bright Star best score, no idea for best book, Danny Burstein, Cynthia, Jane Krakowski and Christopher Fitzgerald. No show would have sweeped.
