Once, with a trip coming up in Aug. and again in September.
The good reviews far out weigh the bad reviews and the show is getting great word of mouth. I have personally sent 2 dozen people who live a lot closer to NY than I do and they love it!
Very few shows get all good reviews, so relax and enjoy the fact that you LOVE it!

Definitely !! I'm not upset - I'm just playing with these folks here 
Negative reviews that's not bother me ! It's not like I am in the cast ! but definitely I LOVE the show..its my new "Grey Gardens" this season...as of now.
For Negative Energy- I can just run in it the threadmill for 60 mins & be all set - while listening to XANADU !! I can always channel negativity to something good ...
BTW- I'm seeing it in August too and We are sitting onstage..so excited !!!

Posted: 7/13/07 at 10:25pmTo echo emcee and the other posters, it's all very subjective, and I expected critics to pan the show. I hesitated going to see Xanadu, and my friend had to drag me to see it. But much to my surprise, I loved the show and was really entertained. Conversely, I heard all the raves about Grey Gardens, and without reading reviews, I saw the show and, again to my suprise, I didn't like it. The subject matter didn't interest me and the performances, I thought, were fine. Not stellar, just fine. I thought Audra McDonald should have taken her first leading actress Tony instead of Christine Ebersole's Fran Drescher impersonation, but what are you gonna do? Variety of opinions makes theatre-going and theatre related discussions all the more interesting.

You know I'm actually a HUGE Xanadu fan as well, but I seriously agree with these so called "haters". We really don't need a new thread for every event/article/review/etc. You already have a love thread. Post this stuff in there. That's what it's for! Spring Awakening & Xanadu, as much as I LOVE them both, have taken over this message board! So...many...threads....
Also- Wow, you like graphics....like a lot. haha
