it's a tough call. I'm considering it, they are apparently broadcasting the concert on loudspeakers for the people waiting outside. So I'd be doing essentially what I am now, only outdoors. Hmmmm, but if I didn't get in at all, I'm petty enough to let it ruin my day. Agh, the decisions!

Why choose to a duet if you have no one to sing it with? He still sounds fabulous, but what was that about? I wanted to laugh. He switched from harmony to melody and then back again.

sure thing! I'm just glad to have people around who are diggin' this whole thing as much as I am. my friends don't understand the magnitude of this radio broadcast, as if they're going to find a better time than this out in public somewhere. But public doesn't have Chip Zien, does it? Chip brings the party everywhere he goes.

elaine stritch...
there are no words. i wouldn't even know where to start.

i thought chip's performance was beautiful even as a solo. and having the audience join him brought tears to my eyes... ha. i'm a dork..

also, i just did a cabaret recital that was all sondheim. there were two of us and it was called "it takes two" and so this is just perfect to follow that up.
