I do think it's funny that they randomly throw Mr. B's greatest hits into this show. I wonder who Fran is saying a little prayer for? Does she actually dance this number with the other elevator operators?

Yes, she dances with the elevator operators.

If I am remembering correctly, Fran sings it when the elevator operators give her the flowers from Sheldrake.

I don't know if she was in the original production, but in the revival, Fran's position is NOT an elevator operator as it is in The Apartment. In the musical, she works in food services at Consolidated Life.

In the current revival, just like in the original 1968 Broadway production, Fran Kubelik is a waitress at the Consolidated Life cafeteria.
