re: Wasn't the Neil Simon suppose to get a show

They were supposed to get the Robin Williams comedy show, but he got sick, so it's being postponed.

I was walking passed the Neil Simon and had my camera with me. I snapped a picture of the marquee for Robin William's show.

I walked by the Neil Simon and the signs on the doors said that the Robin Williams show was canceled indefinitely.

That doesn't surprise me...

When I had bought my ticket, the day after they announced the show was cancelled and was being postponed, I was told that we could choose to either have a refund or first dibs on a ticket transfer to whenever the show actually will take place. I hadn't asked for a refund because I wanted to see when they might reschedule the show, but about 2 days later, there was an automatic refund to everyone.

Oh well. Sucks they wasted all that money on putting up the marquee and stuff - granted it's just one picture, but still. I'm sure something else will snatch it up. I'm surprised the Court and the Neil Simon weren't snatched up already.

I think Catch Me If You Can should book the Neil Simon.

The Neil Simon looks so plain without all the Hairspray stuff!

I thought that the Neil Simon was going to get the Broadway bound Dirty Dancing.

Shhhhhh! Maybe if we pretend it's not happening, it won't come true!

One can only hope.

I hate to say it, but my college took a day trip to Boston one saturday not that long ago and I saw it there to see what the talk was about. I walked out VERY happy and VERY shocked that I actually enjoyed what i had seen on stage.

Methinks that because it it playing The Pantages next, that they will announce their plans for Broadway at sometime during the middle of their run there.

The front of the Neil Simon is boring, ugly.

And I think Catch Me If You Can will go into one of the other mid-sized houses.
