WaterFall coming to Broadway?

Waterfall had its first try out in San Diego if I remember correctly and got terrible reviews over the summer. They are having a second out of town try out in Seattle in the fall and are advertising the show by saying 'Catch this new musical at the 5th Avenue before it heads to Broadway!' Could it really be heading to Broadway after what seemed like all negative reviews so far?

The show was actually at the Pasadena Playhouse. The notices were enough to discourage me from going. My takeaway from the reviews was that it was not a total disaster and was possibly fixable.
