The Wedding Singer will perform 2 numbers on the Today Show, Thursday morning June 8th 2006.

8:40am est. - “Wedding Day”

9:50am est. - “Grow Old With You”

Good Day New York Thursday!

Good Day New York will be featuring behind the scenes segments of The Wedding Singer tomorrow, June 8th from 6:30am to 9:00am est.

CBS this Friday!

The CBS Morning Show will be doing a live segment from Kleinfeld’s Bridal Store with cast and creative team from The Wedding Singer, Friday, June 9th at 7:30 am est.

Tony Awards on CBS this Sunday

The Wedding Singer has been nominated for 5 Tony Awards! Watch a live performance this Sunday June 11th, on the Tony Award telecast on CBS!

I hate when this happens. The 9:50 Wedding Singer performance will probably be on the same time Drowsy Chaperone is on Regis and Kelly. I guess I'll have to switch back and forth. I need a TIVO!

Oh, Man. I totally forgot. I love "Grow Old With You." It's my MySpace profile song. Though they kind of botched it in the show.

It's a fun song, and fun choreography. Unfortunately, it's all downhill after that.

Say what you will about WEDDING SINGER (I personally loathe it), they've been flogging the hell out of it this week. The actual appearance on the Today Show was the least of it; they've been playing that song all week, and will undoubtedly continue to do so throughout their wedding competition. And the iTunes giveaway. That song is going to be firmly ingrained in our cerebral cortex by month's end. The Publicity and Marketing folks certainly have earned their pay for this one! A+

I don't know. I just saw the performance on Today. It was a little lackluster. It was fun and all but it just wasn't a good song to perform. I just didn't feel really that positive about it.

Did anyone see them on Good Day New York? I thought I taped the right channel, but I didn't see anything on The Wedding Singer when I fast forwarded through the show.

This morning was really a Broadway morning. "What About Love?" from The Color Purple was sung on CBS during one of The Wedding Singer's performances, and As We Stumble Along from Drowsy on ABC and Grow Old With You on the Today Show were performed at the same time.

Oh man, I didn't realize they were doing two songs on the Today Show. I turned it off after "It's Your Wedding Day." Darn. I LOVE "Grow Old With You."
