Wedding singer the musical uk, where is it?

The last I heard, the London plans were scrapped a few months ago. I haven't heard about another tour but it wouldn't surprise me if it hits the oad again, possibly with a view to have another crack at the West End afterwards.

They had high hopes for this but its production values and the lack of public going to see it put pay to any hopes they had for a London run.

Princeton im suprised you thought this was cheap. I work in a theatre and i see so much stuff come through and we were all saying at the Palace that we thought it looked pretty good (production value wise). I dont think it looked any cheaper than shows like Fame, Footloose, Saturday Night Fever etc.

I spoke to Johnathan Wilkes about this show and he said he loved it as did the cast. He also said that it sold pretty well everywhere and they all thought they would be going to London with it. Last miniute the cast were told it would not go on to London as they could not find a home.

Im not going to get into a battle of who knows more than somebody else, I just know for a fact not ALL cast members found it an enjoyable tour. Im sure many did.

And yes I have also seen a lot of theatre in my life, and yep I used to work in a regional theatre to. and I stand by my opinion, it was cheap.

I thought it was a weak production of a very good musical. It tried to appeal to hen-parties when it should have aimed for theatregoers.

And Simon Lipkin should have been moved into the lead. He can stick his fist up my puppet anytime but Johnathan Wilkes ain't getting anywhere near it.
