"Jeremy Jordan, however, would be incorrectly identified by most people as being their cousin Judy's son-in-law, Todd."
HAHAHAAAAAAAA. That was hilarious.

Posted: 9/6/14 at 5:37pmThe significance of the timing of the release of The Last Five Years has more to do with the promotion opportunities than it does with the number of people who may actually see it. The fact that a Weinstein company picked up the distribution rights and scheduled the release to coincide with the buildup for Finding Neverland just adds a little more intrigue to the situation. This film has been sitting on the shelf for over a year. Weinstein could have snatched it up at any time, but he chose now. Regardless of the outcome, the chess game is very entertaining.

Posted: 9/6/14 at 7:42pmi think people are definitely gonna see the last five years because of anna kendrick which will obviously get jeremy a little bit more fame. That being said, morrison has been on glee for years and years now and hasn't done anything major except that show. i wouldn't really say morrison is a way bigger star than jeremy. i think they are pretty equal, and people stopped watching glee a long time ago lol

Who is Anna Kendrick? (Besides Cinderella)?

Posted: 9/6/14 at 10:29pmWhat has Kendrick done that would make people rush to see this? I don't think either of them will be much of a draw. Nothing to diss them, but it's not like she's Streep. And the indie crowd isn't probably going to turn it out for a musical.

anna kendrick has done a lot of movies now lol but we'll see i guess. i do hope that jeremy does the show on broadway though cause i like him better than morrison lol and plus nobody is gonna see this show just because matt morrison is in it. he's not even some huge celebrity so if weinstein wants a huge name in the show than he should be looking at big movie stars. Theres really no difference between jordan or morrison in my opinion

^ Wow, do you ever capitalize anything?
Nah, she isn't a draw for me, she isn't as huge as everyone thinks she is, especially in a tiny little indie film.

Posted: 9/8/14 at 9:35amI think Weinstein is a smart guy! Look at all the comments on this thread. He's just using all this "secret" stuff to generate publicity for the show. Jeremy Jordan has done a fantastic job in Boston and Weinstein knows it. I personally don't think he will use Morrison. Morrison was popular for a year at the most! His character actually became kind of irritating after the first season. His acting and singing skills don't compare for a minute to Jordan's. Jeremy Jordan is a breakout star, and Weinstein knows it and would be foolish not to keep him in this show. He will be shooting himself in the foot if he puts Morrison in the show. Please don't shoot me...lol...just my opinion.
