I'm not going to write a review of tonight's performance because there has already been so much written about it and besides a bigger set, some minor tweeks and a few line changes it's pretty much the exact same play that ran off-Broadway.

I will say that having seen this play so many times previously, I had missed it and tonight I was thrilled to be able to see it again. The audience was extremely reactive and it got a very well deserved standing ovation at the end. It's been almost 12 years since I saw a play that I can say is "one of the best plays I've ever seen" but this play clearly gets a spot on that list. Not only was it the best play of last season, it is now the best play of this season. And without a doubt, it will be the best play of next season as well. I wish this show all the luck in the world.

This makes me happy. And I agree with every word. I can't wait to see it again on Thursday. And hopefully many more times during its run at the Helen Hayes.

I love this show so much.
