Thanks, Rob. By my count there are only 7 of us here in the DC area and we all post daily on the Off Topic board with our BWW friends from elsewhere. Not sure how much we will use a region-specific board, but thank you for keeping our city in mind.

I'm from Virginia, but I'm 15 minutes from DC and have seen all the theater there so I'm making myself count. Thanks for this board. We'll see what happens.

I've always thought of DC as a pretty serious city where things like theater weren't really popular, so I never really thought about DC's theater scene until I started posting here.

Joined recently and just found this board. Maybe we should remind people in off-topic board to visit here
I live in central Virginia and work in DC; Just saw Hairspray -July 30th. Anyone planning to see Urinetown?
Will be back in NY on the 23, 24 and 25th. Will see DRS, Piazza, Doubt and Fringe festival show, maybe Bridezilla. I love the DC area, but live for my NY trips. :)

Kentucky here, but I am in DC 3-4 times a year to visit family. Its my home away from home.

I'm in McLean, just a leisurely drive down the George Washington Parkway away! I had no idea this existed, i'm so excited!

I live in Richmond, but make it up to DC quite often. I've already got my tickets for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" next week. I looking forward to it. I hope the DC board takes off.
