I always feel absurd when I bring up message boards. But during the Today Show I met a bunch of people who frequent on CB.

It's weird to be in a rush line or outside a theatre or something and hear people talking about "the message boards." I stand there and think "please don't hate!"

Yeah, most everyone I've met from here has been planned out ahead of time through PMs and stuff, so it's not just a shot in the dark. Of course, I also find myself meeting people at stagedoors and through talking, find out they post online.
Marlene, I was in a cream jacket and I was leaning against the pole in the lobby for awhile. During intermission, I was probably gawking at Michael John LaChiusa, who was sitting behind me. Grrr. I'm still pissed at myself for not saying something to him.

Whenever I meet someone from a message board, it's usually a prearranged meeting with someone I've come to trust fairly well.
And it's almost always a good time!

You had box seats right, skittles. Cream jacket? Hrrrrrm. I'm not so sure about that.
The guy sitting next to me was writing an essay of sorts and taking notes. He was cramped in her seat. Behind me was a row of what seemed to be avid Idina fans.
[edit] I seriously hope that the girls on line behind me are not on the board. I wanted them to magically vanish, and lecture them about not smoking.
I saw mini mimi online in front of me at the Virgin Megastore signing.

I love meeting people, but it's usually planned.

I've never really met anyone from BWW, but then again, I've never planned it out first. :-P Although if you think about it, I've probably run into or been in the same vicinity as people from here before without knowing it. But for anyone who lives in LA, I'm planning out an open RENT day on Wed so if you have no one to see the movie with, feel free to join in and be crazy with us. :-P
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

Can you come dressed as Adam in your av, Allie?
There might be a slight chance that I've seen Emcee, because you were at the Feelin' Electric performance at Union Sq this summer, right?
Except while I was there I only talked to this girl in glasses, and her friend who were lingering around to talking to Anthony and ask for an autograph. I was very tempted to start asking if anyone there was Emcee. But I decided against it.

I go to stuff and sort of look around the room thinking "I wonder how many of these people I've talked to without knowing it."

Yeah, I was in the box on the front right corner. I just happened to remember what I was wearing that day. I don't have a picture of myself online...um, I have dark blond/brown hair.
Whatever, it doesn't matter. You were there, I was there, it's all good.

Whenever I go to NYC, I wonder how many people I see at the shows I attend hang out on BWW.

Yay, right mental picture. I some how assumed that was you! Well actually I just remember that you were tall and that you had blonde hair. Okay I must stop now before I sound like an incessant BWW member stalker.

*waves* hey!
I wanna meet more people from here. So far I've only met one, but I'm sure I've unknowingly seen more.

Heeee, I will totally dress like Lumberjack Adam!
I wish I had some sort of BWW shirt or button or something. Even though I'm almost certain there's nobody here from my area, it would be a good way to know for sure. And it's so unlikely that if it ever happened, I'm sure we'd become best friends for life.

Sometimes, after I show people pictures of me, they're like "I've seen you!"
... not that it's difficult to predict where I pop up.

Haha..it would be a lot easier if everyone actually used avatars of themselves

I don't find 'avatars of themselves' to be a good idea, really. XD But hey.

It would be funny if there was some huge BWW get together thingy and everyone just wore huge name tages with their usernames on them

Probably not, because this is the internet. Enough said.
But it would just be more convenient to already know what people looked like, that's all.
