"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

*wants to see Wax Lion's pictures really bad*
Hm...I'm bored, and I'm sitting in the library with nothing to do...Anthony is awesome!
I was walking by the cinema/film class, and they were watching Dazed and Confused (weird yes?) and I had to stop and see Anthony with his long 70's hair. Fun times.
And, that's my story.

And a side note - I received Anthony's Without You today. I'll follow-up with commentary once I complete it.

That's awesome Lari! I'm so happy that you won it! :) Are there cool pictures inside?

It's a really sparse "Advance Uncorrected Reader's Proof" copy, so no. The cover isn't the final cover, either. Just the text.

...Anyway.
Glad you all liked the pictures... like I said, what an AMAZERIFFIC night. I still can't believe I was actually there. I almost died that night. I've been floating on a cloud ever since. *le sigh*
Ugggggh. I hate missing stuff here when I have to go school. Pssssh. High school. Who needs it? I'd much rather be on BroadwayWorld.com! Then again... who wouldn't?
Ahhhh! Wax Lion! And Lari! *anxiously awaits fantabulous pictures and reviews*
Well, now off to school show rehearsals. Yippee. Can't ya feel the excitement? ...Oy to the vey.

Okay, so once again the Anthony thread is off topic, lol
Lets all post what we love about Anthony! I'll start with the obvious- he's kind to his fans and amazingly talented.

He's just really hot.
Seriously though, he just seems like an incredibly amazing person who's nice to all of his fans (even the crazy ones) and just...yeah.

I may be forced to stalk Lari and steal her copy of Anthony's book.
And....ummmm....let's see, why I love Anthony... I enjoy him because he's very unique. He voice is so identifiable, but not in a bad way, there is just no one quite like him. There is too much vanilla sometimes, everyone just blends together, but Anthony is like a little bit of strawberry. Dang, now I'm craving ice cream...
And he seems like a total sweetheart. How can you NOT like him?
Random threadjack:
I was at the gym tonight (which was bloody packed) and totally killing myself (while listening to the RENT movie soundtrack, which have been my workout tunes since it was released) and the RENT trailer came on TV. I got the biggest, dopiest grin on my face and it gave me a TOTAL runner's high. I looked at the x-trainer and realized I was going at about 8mph...I usually average around 6.
RENT=the ultimate workout companion.

I did that too! I was on the elliptical and I started going about 20 strides/minute faster than I go on average because Rent came on my iPod.

That's the best metaphor (metaphor, right?).
colleen_lee: Which trailer?
La Vie Boheme is a great one to dance to (or the Out Tonight one).

A strawberry? heh!
Anyway, Anthony is one of the kindest, sweetest, most generous, caring, intelligent people in my life, and I'm extremely grateful to him for many things.
God, that reads like a high school yearbook. I mean it, though.
I saw another new trailer tonight.

It was the trailer with all the quotes from critics (which I don't particularly like). The sound is muted at the gym anyway, so I wouldn't have heard it.
But "Out Tonight" was playing on my ipod at the same time.

There was this 12 year old scene kid singing SOL at the Chinese food place earlier. It was odd.

She was like, "Yeah, I totally listened to the soundtrack like twice today!" and I asked her, "Do you like any of of the actors?"*cough*Anthony*cough* To which she replied, "Uhh, I think that black guy's pretty hot!"

xoxRogue, it's a simile, it uses "like" in the comparison.

I feel like I'm a bad writer for saying this, but I honestly can't find words to describe Anthony. I tried to relay a message through someone to him once and I ended up stuttering and blurting out "He's just so amazing!" But even that doesn't seem appropriate, since I called the pasta salad I had for lunch "amazing" as well. I feel like I should create words to describe him, because he's just gone so far above and beyond what I would typically describe as "amazing" that it doesn't seem good enough.
Er, this is kind of embarassing knowing he may read this whole discussion of linguistics. But that's because I didn't want to say nothing, I wanted to explain why I can't say anything.

I'm just guessing that Anthony isn't wading through this thread, being that we manage to add a good 10 pages a day, and most of it is random off-topic discussion.
Oh, but did y'all see the new video posted on the blog?
I completely forgot it was Monday, so I didn't check the blog til a few seconds ago.
