So, I thought I might share a few Rent things that happened yesterday and today.
1.) Yesterday, tech night: First to explain, the seniors, in their performance, preform Seasons of Love at the end of their show. It's a little modified at the end, so they don't have the high note. So, anyway, they have students playing two pianos, a guitar, and a saxophone, which sounds completely AMAZING when it plays at the end of the song. So back to the story, one of the paino plays was making sure he was playing the begining right so he was practicing. Well, that just make every person around starting to sing. It was quite random, but fun.
2. Before that, between the end of our rehearsal right after school and the freshmen's tech, a group of us went th the dinner. The car I was in got there and as we were walking to the door, another group of us was siting in the car singing La Vie Boheme. They say me and rolled down the window, which of course I started to sing loudly along...in the parking lot.
3. Today: My mom must have talked to my Spanish teacher at a retirement party, because as she was giving examples for the present perfect in english, she does: "Um, You have seen Rent three times in the span of three days." I start laughing...and only one or two people knew immediately that she was talking about me. So, I looked a little wierd laughing out loud.
That was all.
Oh, and singing La Vie Boheme in the dinner, WITH the hand movements in the beginning.
We are crazy people.

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"
