I *really* want Mark's scarf...even a replica of it. I think I'm gonna try and find one and ask for it for Hanukkah, since I don't really want anything else.

This is my pouty face..
I tried to get that scarf for Christmas, but my mom looked at me like I head three heads and said we're not paying for a scarf that's probably going ot be 500 dollars (I think the reason the scarf is so low is because there is still so much time...someone was telling me the trick to ebay is to have no one bid until the last ten minutes because anythign before that just jacks up the "starting" price...and the trick is to bet the last before the last ten minutes or so is up...That's also the reason some stuff is 99 cents...people are watching and waiting to pounce on them)
Uhmm, my english class is doing a poetry unit, and my teacher is having us bring in a song with poetic qualities..I planned on using "Room to Breathe" because it's my favorite song, but then he said we need to being in lyric sheets for the whole class...problem is I cant find any look around lyrics anywhere....can anyone help?

I used Glory for my English class' poetry unit this month. Great minds think alike.

In my Humanities class, one of my teachers (who is a Renthead, hehe) used "Christmas Bells" as an example of the interaction between people/learning about cultures during the first few days of school. He played it a few times, and us Rentheads loved it.

Yay!
Gahhhhh. I'm trying to write a poem about Rent for school. It's SO hard. Don't try it without the proper equipment. Or unless you're actually a good writer...

back in college I wrote a term paper about breaking stereotypes in Rent. Only time I got an A+ ever. The actual assignment was to use a movie because she wanted us to be able to refer to it as we worked. I was like, um, would you like me to recite it for you? Cause I could do that! :)

Last year, we had to take a song and identify poetic qualities in it, and I used Without You as one of my songs. I got an A on it too.

Yeah, that's exactly what we had to do! I was like "...yeah. There's a buttload of repetition. And some other stuff."

Hmmm...my teacher is big on repitition....so I have that song on backup...but Id still rather try to find "Room to Breathe" lyrics...it's so odd no one has them posted ANYWHERE..

HAHA! Sure, why not. Here goes.
Ode to Scarf
Once upon a time...
there was this scarf.
And it had a sisterhood,
which was made up of crazed Anthony fangirls.
Oh, scarf.
How we love you so.
How do we love you? Let me count the ways.
You bring joy into our humdrum lives.
Your stripes and fringe fill us with happiness.
...And this is gonna be the condensed version. Haha.
Geez, talk about underappreciated talents...

You have to make the commandments of the scarf! Like they do with the pants.
